New Delhi: Gone are the days when you saw the trademark clothing of a politician- a white kurta pyjama! Nowadays, politicians especially the young lot is flaunting edgy and fashionable styles in Parliament which is what makes them the ‘eye candy’. 
They look classy but down to earth and glamorous but simple. Here is a list of such politicos who catch everybody’s attention with their distinctive styles.




1. Narendra Modi: The CM of Gujarat and now BJP’s PM candidate, it is his aura which makes him the eye candy and attracts lot women specially. He is a man of action and not merely a persona as quoted by Smriti Irani. 
Trimmed beard and hair, clothes that are stylishly cut even if they are traditional is what glorifies the image of Modi. His iconic half sleeved Kurta- the ‘Modi kurta’ has become the fashion trend. His designer used to be the Ahmedabad store Jade Blue, the most expensive couture store in the city.



2. Rahul Gandhi: Even though he is a graduate from top universities of the world- Rollins and Cambridge, the surname ‘Gandhi’ attached to his name is the biggest qualification. Born in a rich and influential family, his fair complexion, dimples on face and a cute smile are like the icing on the cake, making him the most eligible bachelor of India. 
He looks the best in his signature look- a white kurta pyjama. From wearing a casual T-shirt and jeans in a cricket match to wearing a formal suit in a delegation, he can carry off all the looks really well.



3. Sachin Pilot:  His sense of style is formal which attracts everybody’s attention. He looks effortlessly stylish in a corporate outfit. 
The narrow framed spectacles on his face give him a confident look. Not to miss, his million dollar smile is the reason which stole many hearts.



4. Shashi Tharoor: He is the minister of state for Human resource and development. He is an MP from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. 
While his counterparts are seen dressed in dhoti or mundu, he cuts a suave picture with his dressing style.



5. Omar Abdullah: Another well known leader known for his chic look, Omar Abdullah is a regular client of Sudhir Diwan of Diwan Saheb, a brand that's all about class and heritage. 
He carries off any attire very well and has an excellent style sense.



6. Jyotiraditya Scindia: His sense of style is traditional and formal. He tends to mix his designer label conscious style with his ethnic dressing needs. When Jyotiraditya Scindia is seen in public, impeccably attired in a dark designer label suit – complete with immaculately polished shoes and a neatly folded pocket square – it’s easy to see why the Minister of State for Ministry of power is considered one of the most promising faces of New India.



7. Varun Gandhi: Born in the Nehru-Gandhi family, Varun is a member of Bharatiya Janata Party National executive. He represents Pilibhit constituency. 
He prefers traditional attire.



8. Anurag Thakur: He is the son of Prem Kumar Dhumal, former CM of Himachal Pradesh. He is the joint secretary of BCCI. 
He has a distinct beard style which suits him well. He looks smart in Nehru jackets and formal suits. 



9. Jitin Prasad: Minister of state, HRD from Lakhimpur, Uttar Pradesh, he is always flaunting his edgy attire. 
He looks the best in a ‘band gala’ suit and Nehru jackets.



11. Jayant Chaudhry: He is the grandson of Former Prime Minister of India Charan Singh. He is a graduate from London school of Economics. 

His sense of style is simple which makes him distinct in his own way.
